It is said that a smart person knows what to say, a wise person knows whether or not to say it but Stripped Down simply says it all – it’s purely music stripped to the bone!

Every week there are fresh hits stripped down to their bare minimum for your Sunday veg out session so last night we undraped three striking tracks to add on to our catalogue of insatiable audibility.

One of the new releases included Hold My Hand from the English recording artist Jesse Glynne. Although the single was released last March, it still has tremendous appeal and I specially fancy the dance-pop-soul-house feel of the live stark-naked version.

In addition, the unwinding version of Try Me by Jason Derulo Featuring Jennifer Lopez and the Norwegian DJ Matoma made a textbook premier on Stripped Down. The track was first released on October 20, 2015 from his fourth studio album Everything is 4 and zoning out to this undressed version most definitely created an impact on last night’s stint.

The British girl group Little Mix had something to swank about as well when the vogue and serene acoustic side of their popular track Love Me Like You made their first entrance to the show. The pop doo-wop texture of the track to hang lose at the end of the week was sensational!

A couple of exclusive notables that were essential in making last night’s show a kick back success: Where Are You Now by Florence + The Machine covering Skrillex & Diplo Featuring Justin Bieber and Torn by One Direction covering Natalie Imbruglia. Always an amazing performance guys!

Indeed a fantastic and extraordinary show on the 4 hour spell of limitless insouciant tracks all brought to us by Stripped Down as it featured oodles of unsurpassed faves on Y101 Always First
