Proms are a big deal in the States. Many guys go to great lengths just to ask a girl out to be their date to the prom. Some guys go to even greater lengths to ask an Oscar winner.
A high school student in Phoenix, Arizona recreated the famous opening scene from the movie musical La La Land in a bid to get the movie’s star, Emma Stone to be his prom date.
Jacob Staudenmaier recruited his friends to help him film his version of the musical number ‘Another Day Of Sun’ in his school’s parking lot.
In the clip, Staudenmaier also promises to take the Oscar winner to Olive Garden for dinner before the prom and declares himself the “coolest guy around in the Valley of the Sun”.
