The long running pop princess promised a “beginning of a new era” with the release of her new album Glory in a couple of weeks.

Britney Spears is back. Following her excellent new single Make Me… ft. G-Eazy, the Oops I Did it Again singer announced her ninth studio album, Glory, is coming via Apple Music on Aug. 26.

"#Glory. My new album & the beginning of a new era. Available 8/26," she shared on Instagram Wednesday morning with a cover photo of the highly anticipated product. "Pre-order tonight at midnight ET on @applemusic and get #PrivateShow instantly."

Britney's latest disc filled with new music is the first album since Britney Jean was released in 2013. The album boasted a signature hit with Work Bitch, but was otherwise the singer's most disappointing effort. Aside from lukewarm fan response, it under-performed commercially, debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 -- her lowest peak position for a studio album.

That’s why fans should be excited for Glory coming in the next three weeks. Britney has been perfecting this album for almost two years making the finished project that much more special.

"It's very excited," the megastar previously told E! News. "I've been working on this project for a year and a half now, almost two years so it really means a lot to me. It's my baby."

"It's a little melodic, a little more not so poppy," Brit continued when teasing her ninth studio album. "It's kind of chill. Very chill."
