The Summer Olympics is just two months away and Brazil the hosting country has come up with an energetic theme song to keep everyone pumped up!

Alma e Coração (Soul and Heart) is the official 2016 Rio Olympics theme song; an all-Brazilian affair. The official music video to the song was uploaded to YouTube and is also an ode to the Olympics host country. The video kicks off to drumbeats set over stunning vistas of Rio, then segues into the training routines of four young enthusiastic Brazilian athletes.

The song is performed by samba star Thiaguinho and featuring South American rapper Projota, The lively and cheerful song is sure to provide a much-needed boost to Brazil’s economically buffeted spirits.

Rio Olympic Games 2016 will begin on Friday, August 5 and will end on Sunday, August 21.
