Hands is an all-star charity single release from Interscope Records with support from GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation). The project was conceived by hit songwriter Justin Tranter, co-writer of the Justin Bieber song Sorry and other hits for Gomez, DNCE, Fall Out Boy and Gwen Stefani.

Tribute Song for Orlando victims

The charity single is in honor for the people who lost their lives in the massacre that happened on June 12 at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. Funds from the song will be donated to the Equality Florida Pulse Victims Fund, the GLBT Community Center of Central Florida and GLAAD. The funds will aid the victims’ families with medical care, counseling and will also be used for education.

The song features vocals from modern pop musicians like Britney Spears, Adam Lambert, Halsey, Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons, Nate Ruess, Pink, and more.

Tranter posted a collage on Instagram expressing his being overwhelmed at the positive feedback his project ignited.
