It’s time to check out what’s happening in the morning show so let’s hit up Jiggy today for some trending updates on his show!

Last we featured Jiggy In The Morning, we were mourning the loss of Space Oddity-icon David Bowie. Three weeks later, we still feel the hollowness in us but the show must go on, so here’s what’s taking place during the pre-lunch hours:

Aside from the interactive sessions this gentleman relishes with his listeners when he exchanges notes with them on Show Me Your Socks, he’s full of prizes and surprises to make that sunup entertaining!

It’s not only all about the superb avant-garde music that he queues up, but the enthusiasm and energy Jiggy expels! This week he’s giving out free race registrations for the SM to SM Year 6 Fun Run for those athletic health buffs like himself.

Furthermore, you’ll be listening to interviews that he’s lined up not only for the run, but also for the other promos like our Valentine challenge as the sponsors educate our listeners on the prizes they can win. He’ll also be jawing with our Sunset Cruise winners on how they feel about taking home that cash and oodles of topics that interest our audience.

Jiggy never fails you when it comes to chewing the fat – he’s always yakking about anything and everything that’s under the sun! Today I asked him what he thought of our Number 1 track on the Rick Dees Countdown and here’s what he commented about Alessia Cara’s Here: “I love the song” he exclaims “as I can totally relate to the lyrics! It’s so Jiggy – a perfect song for introverts”. Although there’s mention of weed in the original version of the track which obviously can’t be aired in our immaculate country, he describes the song as very au fait as it is, in effect, a realistic scenario.

As for the Weekly Top 20 Countdown, the Number 1 track by DNCE this week carries a catchy beat which he finds very entertaining in Cake By The Ocean. “Although superficial, listeners must like it for it to become a hit song” says Jiggy. “Songs like these make it fun not to think and be mindless about reality” he states. “After all, who doesn’t like the sugar and the ocean?”

Ending our chinwag, his parting words continue to be directed to his listeners as he reiterates that the start of each day should be all about positivity. I second the motion Jigs as there’s nothing more unconstructive than being negative!
