A special evening is in store for Filipinos as the English rock singer-songwriter, composer, pianist Sir ELTON JOHN performs in Manila on December 8, 2012 (Saturday) at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
 
Fresh from a memorable and highly acclaimed performance at The Queen's Diamond Jubilee concert at the Buckingham Palace, the music icon has embarked on his 40th Anniversary of the Rocket Man Tour. "Rocket Man" was one of Elton's highest-charting songs. The song remained on top of the U.K. charts for 13 weeks and in the U.S. Billboard chart for 15 weeks.
 
ELTON JOHN’s musical career has spanned four decades; achieving worldwide success by selling more than 250 million records, making him one of the most successful artists of all time. His single "Candle in the Wind 1997", his tribute to the late Princess Diana, has sold over 33 million copies worldwide, and is the best-selling single in the history of the UK Singles Chart and the US Billboard Hot 100.
