Wow. This video has more than 300 million viewers!

If you listen to the melancholic song of the ever popular Ariana Grande, you wouldn’t expect the music video to be what it is. Seriously, I have expected more of a boyfriend and a girlfriend fighting but what I saw was different and I have to say, I liked how it was made.

In the first part, the music video was very intriguing—why is it talking about some disaster? You see flashes of some news channels all talking about the same thing. After that, you see the city in chaos and panic. I am not a fan of Ariana but I was expecting more of a fast song to go with this but when the beat started, I shook my head—I was wrong.

The music was okay and the video was interesting. It was nice how she walked past people with different reactions in the same situation. It makes me think that this has something subliminal to deal with.

My favourite part was when her hoodie randomly lit up in the dark area—it was so creative and beautiful. I don’t know if the director did it in purpose, or it actually meant “light in the dark” for some reason. It was good anyway. 

Anyway, the music video would definitely pass for a real movie/movie trailer. What do you think?
