Our favorite frontman delivers a notable cover on the legendary classic.

After the sad news of the recent passing of 80s icon Prince, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine's cover of Purple Rain surfaces the internet. Back in 2014 several celebrities and performers were guests to Howard Stern's 60th birthday bash and Levine's notable performance was one of the most talked-about performances that night. Performing with rock band Train, the people behind The Howard Stern Show decided to release the footage of the performance online as a tribute to the late great.

Aside from erogenous vocals, Prince was known for his guitar skills and Levine definitely did the cover some justice. It makes Levine even more sexy than he already is and that makes us love him even more. Playing the song's guitar solo with such confidence and ease, him killing it is an understatement.
