Music is a huge part of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie, so much that a Sony Walkman cassette player is a regular part of of Chris Pratt’s character, Peter Quill. The Walkman is how he listens to the music his mom left him. Quill was of course abducted from Earth in the 80s when cassettes were still popular.
Peter Quill travels the galaxy with his inseparable walkman playing music of his childhood; David Bowie, The Runaways, 10cc.In the next Guardians of the Galaxy movie, the walkman will reappear, and we’ll be hearing new more awesome music.
