YouTuber Anthony Vincent catches everyone from Destiny's Child to Smashing Pumpkins, Aqua to Rob Zombie!

Anthony Vincent is the voice of the YouTube channel Ten Second Songs. Basically what he does is cover a modern pop song in the style of different artists from across genres in ten seconds or less. His most popular video is his cover of Katy Perry’s Dark Horse where he sang it in the style of Nirvana, The Doors, John Mayer, and Frank Sinatra among others.

This week Ten Second Songs uploaded a cover song that’s completely different from what he usually does. Anthony Vincent has jumped from pop to Pokémon, releasing a rendition of the animated TV show's theme sung in 20 styles distinct to the late-Nineties.

His choice of 1990’s artist styles in this cover is fitting as the Pokémon franchise also made its debut in the 90s. The video games were released in 1996, while the TV show premiered in Japan in 1997 and came to the U.S. in 1998).

But even with the late-Nineties limit, Vincent had plenty of genres to work with. After easing into the theme with a spot-on impression of the original track, sung by Jason Paige, he jumped deftly from Aqua to Smashing Pumpkins, Björk to Blink-182 and K-Ci and Jojo to Marilyn Manson with characteristic zeal.
