rainy sunset cruise

It’s amazing how any track from the Sunset Cruise can still perfectly fit a rainy night.

Last night dark clouds poured rain over Southside. It’s beginning to look like the rainy season has arrived. But The Sunset Cruise has chilled tracks that are perfect for any season. Take for example Don’t Give Up (On Love) by Blinkie and R&B-led vocalist Alahna. A pretty cool house track that is one for finding love in the sunset cruise or in any club on a cold night.

Another pretty track heard on the cruise last night was Seven Lion’s Falling Away, a progressive house track in which the American producer brought Canadian synthpop artist Lights to provide the vocals. Seven Lions used to do dubstep and make gritty bass lines, but all of that was left behind. Instead he goes for a conventional progressive house track that feels just right in the Sunset Cruise.

A classic UK trip hop song is You Got the Love. Originally a disco song by Candi Station and famously remixed by The Source. You Got the Love by The Source featuring Candi Station became a hit in the UK during 1991. In 2006, New Voyager remixed the classic house track, and ten years later last night The Sunset Cruise played it over the seas.

With sexy chilled out tracks, nothing will ever go wrong in the Sunset Cruise as long as you bring with you good vibes. Not even the rain can stop the cruise from sailing.
