The ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ pop veteran shared the video to promote an upcoming charity gig he’ll be playing in London.
Astley sings into the camera, accompanied by just a guitar, but admits at the end: "I'll be playing drums, not the guitar, so it'll sound better than that."
Rick Astley climbed back onto the Billboard Albums chart in October after a 23-year absence. The singer -- who topped the Billboard Hot 100 twice, with 1988's "Never Gonna Give You Up" and "Together Forever" -- debuted at No. 23 on the Independent Albums chart dated Oct. 29, 2016 with his comeback album ‘50’. It was Astley's first album to chart since 1993's Body & Soul, which debuted and peaked at No. 185 in 1993.
