Beer cocktails have been around for centuries, yet it’s only been introduced just recently to Cebu. At KAYU: Kitchen + Bar, you will be poured a mix of pilsen and well-balanced fruit flavors by the one and only Jesus, the restaurant’s master mixologist.

A deceptively-easy to drink creation, beer cocktails may sound aggressive but it’s totally refreshing and sweet. KAYU: Kitchen + Bar offers three types of beer cocktails; beer margarita, coffee and cherry, and the amaretto mule. All three can be ordered as a set or as an unlimited option per flavor for only P450.

The bar also offers its surprisingly affordable signature cocktails. I say surprisingly because the cocktails are very good for its price. Ladies can order the P250 Monkey Smash, a cocktail with brandy and banana syrup. For the men, Jesus suggests the Izzy, named after KAYU creator Izzy Sy who called the creation his favorite. The Izzy is basically an old-fashioned with a twist. It comes with a cinnamon stick and gets you boozy by the end of the night. The Izzy also only costs P250. All of the cocktails at KAYU were created by the world-class bartending champion Michael Tubiera.
