Are you one of those people who loves catching and playing with 8-legged creepy crawlies?

Well, if you live in Australia, May 18th must be a great day for you. Dozens and dozens of arachnids were found floating in the air on top of many residences. Crazy!

It was a shocking day for all the Australians who have witnessed a rain of spiders because it doesn't happen all the time. On the 18th of May, 2015, spiders were reportedly seen crawling on their webs. I'm not talking about just a spider, hundreds of them were having a 10-generation reunion on top of a lot of houses.

The scientific explanation for this is: "Ballooning is a not uncommon behavior for many spiders. They climb some high area and stick their butts up in the air and release silk. Then they just take off," Vetter told Live Science. Spiders always do the ballooning, but the unusual thing here is that they don't always do it all at the same time. Now that's something I would NOT want to see.
