The Walk is a true story about French high-wire artist Philippe Petit (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who as a child, had always been fascinated by the art of tightrope. Philippe daringly attempts to do something that no one has ever achieved. With the help of his crew, he will pull off a coup and use his skills to walk the distance between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City.
In my opinion, The Walk is an awesome movie, thanks to its director Robert Zemeckis. His ability to captivate and recreate the actual events of Philippe Petit's amazing life is totally amazing! And the 3D experience of this movie is absolutely incredible as it will definitely get you on the edge of your seat. What’s unreal too, is how he manages to capture its audience by the depth of the tall buildings he has to cross which ironically, makes you wish that Petit successfully reaches his goal!
Joseph Gordon-Levitt certainly did a great job portraying Philippe Petit with his outstanding French accent and in learning the art of tightrope walking for the movie.
