Shoulder Pads
Sharp shoulder silhouettes or just plain puffy madness was all the rage with power dressing back in the '80s and early '90s. Balmain made it cool all over again back in 2009 but the trend was quick to go as soon as we saw knock-offs sold at Chinese wholesalers.
Fanny Packs
Always synonymous to tourists, your travel #ootd will always look ugly if you're seen donning one. For some reason some celebrities are attempting to make them cool again. Just toss this in the trash and use a small cross body bag for your transit essentials please.
Saggy Pants
We're all guilty for this as the hip hop scene was at its peak back in the '90s. I read that the faux pas was so bad, that even the government got involved, attempting to ban the sag.
Velour Tracksuits
Missy Elliot, J-Lo and Gwen Stefani were your soul sisters years ago- better not lie! I'd be willing to bet your butts had a statement on them too.
Knee-high Sneakers
Wearing this would make you look like a WWE wrestler or a wannabe Avril Lavigne that's always romanticizing her failed relationship.
Exposed Thongs
We get it, visible panty lines (VPL) is a huge no-no when it comes to bottom wear made from light or thin fabrics. Thongs have been especially a trend thanks to Sisqo and this trend was hand-in-hand with low-rise jeans.
Crocs
The abomination in comfort dressing, there was a time when the newly-opened Crocs store here in Cebu spawned an epidemic that made its way to shopping malls and resorts. Unless you're Mario Batali, just don't wear them in public...or at all.
