Joji ends Lil Nas X reign at number one. George Miller’s, aka Joji, “Sanctuary” was the most requested track this week and garnered the most number of positive votes to unseat fan favorite “Panini”. Will it stay for another week? We have our doubts, but anything can happen in a week. So maybe… just maybe.
New to the countdown this week is Dan + Shay with the track “10,000 Hours”. This is a collabo with the one and only Justin Bieber and was once our sureshot to reach the summit of the charts very soon. This love song made and dedicated by the country duo for Justin and Hailey, was one of the most streamed tracks in the world. Hey!...What can we say? Anything with Mr. Bieber in it is a surefire hit these days.
We noticed that each ex-member of One Direction seems to have a hot track practically at the same time… everytime. If this is one post break up marketing ploy by Simon Cowell, then this is pure genius. One of them, Niall Horan is our Knocker this week with the song “Nice To Meet Ya”. Niall wrote this song in just one day and we expect this to enter the countdown next Saturday.
