- “7 Rings” features Ariana Grande boasting about money and many other luxuries, including diamonds and houses, The title references the collection of matching friendship rings Ariana and 6 of her friends bought in New York.
Debut: “Ruin My Life” by Zara Larsson
- “Ruin My Life” is a song about that toxic relationship where you just can’t help but still love the person “effing you up”. Larsson said this song could be about lovers or friends. She explained, “It’s about being in a relationship that really isn’t good for you but you can’t help but wanting that friend or lover back. it’s just that relationship that’s kind of a bit self-destructive I would say maybe that you just can’t help but love”.

- Diverging from ZAYN’s series of slow-burning, R&B jams, “No Candle No Light” introduces a more electronic-inspired sound for Zayn Malik. The chorus is a play on the word ‘candlelight,’ a symbol commonly used for romance and love. Throughout the song Zayn and Nicki portray two characters whose love for each other is dying.
