The American Music Awards (AMA) nominations are in. Hiphop star Post Malone tops the line-up with seven nods. One of these is for the Artist of the Year award. He is up against Drake, Ariana Grande, Halsey and Taylor Swift, who all have strong chances of bagging the trophy.
Taylor Swift could be in for a record-breaking evening on Sunday, Nov. 24, when the AMAs are held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Swift currently has 23 trophies. If she wins two of her five nominations, then she will surpass the record 24 wins held by Michael Jackson.
Fan votes decide who wins at the American Music Awards. Malone’s ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ album returned to the No. 1 slot in the Hot 100 and his single Sunflower from Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse soundtrack has been a top seller for over a year.
