Hootie & The Blowfish announced their upcoming album, Imperfect Circle, their first in nearly 15 years. The announcement comes out in the midst of the group’s 44-date Group Therapy reunion tour.
The group has not released an album since Lucky for Lucky came out in 2005.
“We've been playing together 30-something years, and for us to be here and be doing this tour, and be making a record, it just seemed like Imperfect Circle was perfect," Rucker remarked.
Rucker has since released five country music albums, with his last one being When Was the Last Time, out in 2017. Hootie and the Blowfish’ debut album, Cracked Rearview, came out in 1994, marking its 25thanniversary this year.
The first track off the record entitled “Rollin’” will be available on September 6 via their website while the album is scheduled for release on November 1.
