Paul McCartney wrapped up his Freshen Up Tour last Saturday at the Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium and surprised fans by bringing onstage his old Beatles bandmate, Ringo Starr, to perform a pair of classic Beatles songs.

The two rock stars and remaining Beatles members hugged onstage before performing their 1967 hit Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and Helter Skelter from The White album, to a much surprised and delighted crowd.

The last time the pair performed together at the Dodger Stadium was on August 28, 1966. Almost half a century ago, it was also the night of the legendary band’s final show at the Candlestick Park in San Francisco.

McCartney also brought onstage another surprise guest, The Eagles member, Joe Walsh, who also happens to be Ringo Starr’s brother-in-law. Walsh came onstage to perform guitar solos during the the Abbey Road number The End.
