Speaking to Vanity Fair, Emilia Clarke who plays Daenerys Targaryen in the wildly popular fantasy series Game of Thrones has teased some details about the fate of her character in the upcoming last season, which is to be aired next year.

Talking about her “final on-screen moments”, Clarke recalls that experience and said that “It fucked me up. Knowing that is going to be a lasting flavor in someone’s mouth of what Daenerys is…” before adding “doing all this weird shit – you’ll know what I mean when you see it.

Clarke also revealed that her character will finally meet Arya and Sansa, played by Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner respectively. Variety confirmed the widely theorized directions when Clarke discussed “shooting for the first time with several of the show’s top stars including Turner and Williams”.

The cast and crew of Game of Thrones are currently in production. Maisie Williams said that filming will end at the end of 2018 saying “We wrap in December and we air our first episode in April [2019]”.
