“I feel like a zoo animal, and I wanna be able to keep my sanity.”
Canadian pop star Justin Bieber shared a message on Instagram that he’s done taking pictures with fans. He is currently in the midst of his Purpose world tour.
Bieber is already sick of paparazzi and apparently he also feels the same way towards his fans who appraoches him in informal ways.
"It has gotten to the point that people won't even say hi to me or recognize me as a human", Bieber wrote in the message.
Bieber also argues in the message about fan entitlement. He explains that even if you bought his album, doesn’t mean that you’re entitlted to take a photo with him.
"I realize people will be disappointed but I don't owe anybody a picture," He continues, "People who say 'But I bought [your] album' know that you got my album and you got what you paid for, AN ALBUM! It does not say in fine print whenever you see me you also get a photo."
Just a few months ago, Bieber cancelled all future fan meet-and-greets for his current tour. Is Bieber getting tired of fame already?
