Pia Wurtzback, crowned as Ms. Universe 2015!

Miss Universe Philippines representative Pia Wurtzbach has reach the finals, but when it was time to announce who the Miss Universe 2015 was, comedian Steve Harvey, read out the wrong name! Harvey, the host of U.S. Family Feud read out the name of Miss Columbia Ariadna Gutierrez as the winner of Miss Universe 2015 held in Las Vegas, U.S.A.. She was crowned Miss Universe 2015 until Harvey apologized and said he made a mistake. Harvey showed the name on the card to the camera and it revealed that Miss Philippines was the winner.

The crown was taken off from Miss Columbia’s head and was transferred to Miss Philippines. The crown was transferred by Miss Universe 2014 Paulina Vega who is from Columbia.

Steve Harvey apologized on Twitter a few minutes later saying, “I want to apologize emphatically to Miss Philippines and Miss Colombia. This was a terribly honest human mistake. I am so so regretful.”
