Steve Harvey only had one job.

Yesterday Harvey took over the spotlight as he mistakenly announced the wrong winner. As Miss Universe Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez-Arévalo was triumphantly waving to the audience after the ritualistic Miss Universe walk, the Family Feud host awkwardly cut her moment short. “I have to apologize,” he said. "The first runner-up is Colombia," and then the focus shifted to Miss Universe Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurztbach, who was bewildered and at the same time overjoyed over what just happened. "Miss Universe 2015 is Philippines," Harvey said, ending the suspense. "Listen, folks. Let me just take control of this," Harvey went on to tell the audience that was still left in shock and awe. "This is exactly what's on the card. I will take responsibility for this. It was my mistake." Then the outgoing Miss Universe Paulina Vega, who was also from Colombia, had to do the painful deed of taking back the crown and rightfully placing it on Wurztbach’s head.
