WT20:  Everything Moved This Week

As we do every week, let us rundown the Weekly Top 20 and highlight the songs in the soundtrack of your summer that has charted in Y101 radio.

There are twenty tracks on the top 20 but it looks like all the numbers have changed except for one position. Pillow Talk by Zayn Malik is still sitting comfortably at number one this week, while Mike Posner’s I Took a Pill to Ibiza moves one position up at number two.

The song that used to be number two the other week has dropped two positions down to number four. That song is Little Mix’s Secret Love Song that features vocals from Jason Derulo. The rest of the top five is contained by Fifth Harmony’s Work from Home (no. 5) and ChainsmokersNew York City (no. 3)

Both Justin Bieber and Taylor Swift’s songs moved four positions up from last week. Bieber’s Company sits at number 7 and Swift moves her castle to number 6 on New Romantics.

On positions 10 and 9, The Tide’s What You Give and Oliver Helden ‘s Shades of Grey placed their spots respectively.

Meanwhile, four new tracks debuted this week. 1975’s catchy The Sound joins the chart at number 20. Shawn Hook started hooking on at number 17 with Sound of Your Heart and Meghan Trainor starts to say No at number 15. Troyboi featuring Diplo and Nina Sky also debuted at number 13 with the track After Hours. They replaced DJ Snake and Bipolar Sunshine’s Middle’s position. Middle dropped furthest this week dropping six positions down to number 18.

Although it did not chart on this week’s top 20, 7 Years by Luke Graham is expected to join the ranks. The song has a potential to go all the way up to the top.

And speaking of songs not charting this week,, here are the tracks that fallen off; Zara Larrson’s Lush Life, Sia and Sean Paul’s Cheap Thrills, Fleur East’s Sax and Alessia Cara’s Here.
