How uncool was it that bad boy pilfered the Number 1 spot on our Weekly Top 20 countdown from Fifth Harmony when in truth, I’m In Love With A Monster has way more charisma than Justin Bieber’s What Do You Mean – that’s my opinion anyways!

But of course, we have to take into consideration that Bieber is Bieber and even if he came up with the shoddiest track, it’ll still soar up the charts! He’s that one hella admired teeny-bopper god who has fans up the ying yang, and with all the rigamaru he’s done to make himself even more popular today, how can he not make the hot spot again this week? It’s so blatantly transparent he will be on the pinnacle yet another time, but oh well – that’s how it goes in the world of entertainment when you have a prodigious PR and manager: bad boy or good boy, you’ll rule!

As for the other frontrunners we had lined up last week, One Direction’s Drag Me Down literally dragged down to Number 6 so we know where that’s heading towards – adios! – and 5 Seconds of Summer’s She’s Kinda Hot is heading the same direction. But still hanging in there is Rita Ora featuring Chris Brown’s Body On Me that went up a notch; will we be seeing this track attain another degree on this week’s countdown? Stay stuck for this one because here’s what I think can happen:

I bet that Taylor Swift will start climbing up the charts now that her other contenders have plummeting down – her song, Wildest Dreams. But then again, we do have some other awesome tunes coming in like Ship to Wreck by Florence & the Machine (trust me – it’s a sure shot!) and Time Bomb by Tove Lo (this one’s certainly a matter of time!)…

What’s definite to air just before divulging this week’s champ is Superheroes by The Script which was last year’s Number 1 track, so listen to this flashback – good reminiscences, great vibes!

It’s only here at Y101 Always First that you’ll hear the most happening countdown of the islands, hence be there from 10 AM - 12 noon while Mike Solo brings you today’s hottest hits!

See ya!
