Even before the countdown begun, we already anticipated Adele to be the frontrunner of today’s Weekly Top 20 Chart for the third week in a row with her track When We Were Young.

Nothing amazing coming from the ever-so-illustrious, ever-so-admired, ever-so-vogueish queen of soul, jazz, pop, rock and RnB, whose genre I would categorize as a distinctive brand of music. Also renowned for her outstanding ballads, her soaring vocals are absolutely titanic and there are really no words to describe the phenomenon that this 27-year-old singer and songwriting megastar from Tottenham, London is.

Yes, Adele made it to Number 1 again and she may continue up there for some time although at Number 2, we have One Direction tailing the desired spot. Will History make it to the alp next week or will she continue atop? Only our listeners can dictate this so we should be looking at a very exciting week ahead!

Justin Bieber’s Sorry is now at Number 3 and will slowly slip down the chart as we have new tracks moving in, including his very own Love Yourself which soared up 8 notches to Number 7 this week! Isn’t that amazing? And what’s more, this week we have 3 of his tracks in the WT20 countdown after The Feeling debuted at Number 19 as he collaborates with Hailey Williams. What a dude!

Up another 2 spots is 1975’s Love Me at Number 4, while at Number 5 we have the British musician Sigala with his interpolation of the Jackson 5’s song ABC. Easy Love is looking good and can possibly shoot to Number 1 as well.

Well, that’s the quick rundown of the top tracks of the week here at Y101. Lots of new bombs to come at the Weekly Top 20 as its host, Mike Solo and producer of the radio show Mike O continue to present Cebu’s music guide. You’ll be hearing from me, Martha T again next week with more on the next countdown right here at Y101 Always First
