The Chainsmokers Featuring Rozes makes it to Number 1 with Roses' overpowering applauses.

The song released as the second single of the American DJ duo's debut EP Bouquet has finally made its breakthrough. This week, The Chainsmokers consisting of Andrew Taggart and  feature Rozes' in the EDM mantra that has made it to the top with their mix in our Weekly Top 20. It's glitch techniques and music sweeps makes the track widely divergent from the current music styles commonly heard on radio.

With vocals from Elizabeth Roze Mencel, better known by her moniker Rozes, the song encompasses some of her jazz background as well as influences from Taylor Swift and Max Martin. Taggart and Mencel composed Roses. It was released in June of 2015, placing at Number 6 in the Billboard Hot 100 and reached Number 1 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronica last January. Not a bad song at all reigning the WT20 countdown, however with big guns trailing the spot, I foresee it to be very challenging to remain at the peak.

At Number 2, we have the powerhouse debut single from the Canadian artist that has topped the Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 countdown for the past two weeks now. The controversial track by Alessia Cara is certainly all steamed up not only in the US but around the world! Here, which has wheeled up seven slots this week in our countdown, will reach Number 1 very soon. Dissimilar to the standard music styles, this R&B phenomenon considered as "the anthem for those fed up with the glut of pop songs" is on an upswing!

Finally Touch And Go by Ed Sheeran is done with lingering at Number 4 and has surged up to Number 3 this week. I quite like this track for its lively uplifting tune and the predominant presence of the rhythm guitar. It's a "happy" song and although it's much his traditional style, I see it reaching the alp as well.

Jet Black Heart by 5 Seconds Of Summer is now at Number 4 after towering its way up! Another deviation from regular pop programming, this third single out of their studio album Sounds Good Feels Good released last December 17, 2015 is coming in strong.

Coldplay's down to Number 5 in spite of its performance at the Super Bowl last Sunday. Nothing surprising after Beyoncé highlighted the show with her uncouth racial hype when public attention veered to the shocking performance, leaving Chris Martin out of the limelight!

Shawn Mendes' I Know What You Did Last Summer featuring Camilla Cabello is up another slot at Number 7, while I Heart Menphis' Hit The Quan dropped an incredible 10 slots to Number 17 being the biggest loser of the week.

Coming in strong is another Purpose knockout with Justin Bieber Featuring Halsey at Number 8 while at Number 9, Love Yourself is heading southbound.
