There's always something about Sunset Cruise that always makes me feel like life's a breeze in the ocean!

The buzz that’s been going around at the Y101 studios for a few weeks is no longer gossip – Sunset Cruise has been extended to a two hour chill out and beach house music session and true to fact, it’s finally fleshed out! How exciting is that?

Last night, Y101 Always First featured the last Sunset Cruise of the year with lots of nostalgia and memories from the brilliant sets released in 2015.

Week 18 at the Sunset Cruise was simply paralyzing – the gorgeous weather in the islands complimented by the unbelievable tracks and yesterday’s gorgeous sunset all rustled up another great performance hosted by Carlow. Crafted by Gymm Boy Spinner’s wide selection of amazing house mixes, the Cruise did it again – and I have to confess, I can never get enough of this show!

It’s time for the reverberating aftermath of Sunset Cruise, the bad ass new-fangled Y101 canned show that’s impressing Cebu!

Another ass-kicking show hit us like a storm last night when Carlow hosted Week 17 of the beach house music series on Sunset Cruise. Thanks to Gymm Boy Spinner who has a Pandora’s Box of amazing music, we’re enjoying the bomb-diggidy presentation by MOF Production in collaboration with Y101!

Gliding and feeling the music at a perfect time to chill, the 60 minutes of non-stop commercial-free vocal house, pop and EDM edition was kicked off by Rudimental’s Rumour Mill featuring Anne-Marie and Will Heard out of their brand new album only released this October, We The Generation.

Justin Bieber’s What Do You Mean didn’t fail to appear in the gamut of fabulous off-the-chain tracks. Having made it to Number 1 in more than just one countdown, it’s a primary in all our shows, including this one! Amazing guy – this da shiznit that’s making noise everywhere!

Progressive house track Beautiful Now by Russian-German musician Zedd featuring vocals from the American singer, songwriter, producer and rapper John Bellion was included in the playlist as well. The Rock Mafia Remix version was totally ace and certainly made waves with its pulsating upbeat production!

Another bang-on was the original mix of Lay It All On Me from the same album by the drum and bass band Rudimental, this time however, featuring singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. (I actually adore this mix so if it were up to my programming, you’d hear this frequently on Y101!)

And yet another notable track – a very good piece of music from Norwegian DJ and record producer Kygo with an original mix of Here For You featuring Ella Henderson, his fifth single released last September 4. Best known for his tropical house, deep house and downtempo electronica mixes, Kygo garnered international stardom when he remixed Ed Sheeran’s I See Fire and made his breakthrough when Colplay’s frontman Chris Martin asked him to create a remix for the song Midnight.
