One could never imagine that a massive blizzard was hitting the entire Northern Hemisphere when here in Cebu, the Sunset Cruise was seafaring as usual!

In the midst of what was the snowmageddon of the century, we here in Cebu, enjoyed a pleasant and sunny weekend accompanied by the unadulterated breeze of the ocean. And to embellish the beautiful Sunday afternoon we embraced yesterday was our weekly Cruise with comforting beach house tracks to end the week in style!

We had some great EDM vocals from Audien’s remix of Pompeii, first introduced by the Indie rock band Bastille. The almost five minute upbeat mix combined rock with synthpop with such exquisite taste, it was incredibly amazing music to our ears which left us all in a trance.

In as much as Audien swept us off our feet, Amtrac’s gig had nothing to envy the feat – their version of the Axwell & Ingresso’s powerhouse Something New was simply marvelous! Progressive house coming from the Swedish duo couldn’t have made the Cruise any more relaxing!

And to top the nirvana of all nirvanas, Gold Field’s remix of All In My Head sealed our magnificent Sunday with its deep house showcase out of Vancouver-based producer and DJ Pat Lok’s original.

As always, an exceptional show hosted by Carlow, produced by MOF and made possible by Gymm Boy Spinner’s music library on Y101 Always First. Keep it locked in on Sundays at 6 PM and cruise with us on sunset.

All aboard on the Sunset Cruise
