Lukas Graham Holds its Place at the Top

Every week Rick Dees brings you the latest hits and right now he sets the playlist of the soundtrack of your summer in motion!

It looks like Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself is starting to pass its prime. The song has already been in the Top 40 for several months and it’s time for it to let go. It was number one for numerous times and only just last week it dropped down to 2 when Lukas Graham’s 7 Years replaced it on the top. This week Bieber’s 7-month old song dropped to #3 as Zayn Malik’s Pillow Talk climbs back to #2.

In a few weeks Love Yourself will slowly climb down the charts making way for new hot tracks to get a chance to be part of the soundtrack of your summer. Bieber’s latest single Company also dropped significantly far from 17-36. A surprise move considering Bieber’s latest singles became quick popular chart toppers. Bieber’s much older single Sorry is also still in the Top 40 shining dimly at 34.

The top 10 still has the same songs from last week only that each song moved to different positions. Mike Posner’s I Took a Pill to Ibiza (5-4), Meghan Trainor No (7-8), Zara Larsson Never Forget You (10-9), Twenty One Pilots Stressed Out (9-10) etc.

While some songs from the top are climbing down, most of the songs from the bottom are slowly climbing up. Flume and Kai’s Never Be Like You entered the chart last week at 40 and has already climbed to 35. Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias’s Party Anthem also climbed from 38 to 33 while Pink’s Just Like Fire from the new Alice movie soundtrack has moved from 30-25.
