Coldplay debuts in Rick Dees Top 40 this week at #39. Chris Martin and the gang, this time, brought a force stronger than Timberlake or Drake trying to ensure a smooth ride to the top of the chart. They brought along the only person who can undoubtedly achieve it, the queen bee herself Beyonce. The English pop rockers collaborated with the world famous superdiva on the song Hymn for the Weekend looking to topple Timberlake or Drake’s massive hit songs.
Hymn for the Weekend is still far away from the Top 10, so this month would probably be a tug-of-war between Timberlake’s Can’t Stop the Feeling and Drake’s One Dance. The Canadian rapper with help from his international friends; Kyla from Britain and Wizkid from Nigeria, are sitting auspiciously at number 3, just behind the Chainsmokers and Daya’s Don’t Let Me Down.
