It appears that Soundgarden fans won’t have to wait too much longer to get their hands on the band’s first new studio album in more than 15 years.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, frontman Chris Cornell says the band has finished working on the album and that it will be released this year. “It'll be out in probably October," reveals the singer. "I would say September but I'm just guessing October. We're pretty much done with everything."
