This coming weekend one can experience the best culinary specialties in Cebu in a two-day food exhibit by The Hotel, Resort and Restaurant Association of Cebu Inc. (HRRAC) called “A Taste of Cebu,” with 14 food booths from hotels, resorts and restaurants from around Cebu will showcase a variety of dishes at the Terraces of the Ayala Center Cebu on May 19 to 20, 2012.
The aim of the event is to strengthen and promote the tourism industry in Cebu. The event will also showcase activities like cookie decorating, pizza making for children, bartending competition and fruit carving among others.
A portion of the proceeds of the event will be donated to Children’s Hour, a charitable institution. Cebuano bands, singers and dancers will also perform in the two-day event.
HRRAC is an organization of about 100 Cebu hotels, resorts and restaurants promoting professionalism in the hospitality industry. The event will also raise awareness to non-members, business and industries of what HRACC can do to the public and the community.
