A tradition of the first harvest offering coinciding with the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. Derived from the early rituals of the ancient Bicolanos offering their harvest to their own gods as a form of thanksgiving and to seek favor for a more bountiful harvest throughout the year. This year, the celebration will be highlighted by the festivals’ showdown which features the best cultural events from the different provinces of Bicol from February 5 to 11, 2012.
Parade Festival / Moving Choreography
The 10th Gayon Bikol Festival of Festivals Showdown Sadi Iriga 2012 will be held on February 11, 2012 and the Parade Festival (Moving Choreography) will start at exactly 7:00 am
Assembly Areas are the following National Road, San Nicolas, Iriga City, Ruby St. San Nicolas, Iriga City, and Bucao St.San Nicolas, Iriga City
Assembly Time is 6:00 am
Starting Area at Infront of Philtranco Terminal and the parade will end after passing the Iriga City Ceremonial Grandstand
Festival Showdown
The Festival of Festivals Showdown (Exhibition) will exactly start at 1:00 pm and will be held at Iriga City Ceremonial Grandstand
