There’s a new place in town to enjoy food that’s a mix of Chinese and Filipino dishes. Called “Siknoy Noodle House” by its owner (combination of Insik and Pinoy = SIKNOY) its first outlet has just opened up at the J Centre Mall. The owner Mr. Wilson Yu came up with the idea of opening a restaurant despite not fond of cooking but was more particular in the taste of the foods he ate wherein his own taste buds are the one that gives the final tuning to the dishes at Siknoy.

I always pass by this small, neatly tucked away restaurant every time I head out to the city coming from my place in the South side of Cebu city and for the past hundred times I've passed by this particular restaurant which surprises me with the fact that they are always filled with customers even on weekdays not only on weekends every time I pass by.

One thing that took Facebook by storm for a few days was the topic of Binignit (probably trending on Twitter too) complete with people showing off pictures of their very own variation or style of making the famous Holy Week treat.
