We all know Mariah Carey from those high notes that she belts out in almost all of her songs, but this Diva has one more thing we are surely going to be amazed about.
She has lost an amazing 70 pounds since giving birth to twin last April 30 and is now flaunting her post baby body and definitely looking better (mental note, get in shape). Mariah is now the new face of "Jenny" (formerly Jenny Craig) whom she ran to for help after a long and difficult pregnancy. She started off with a1500 calorie per day diet in July and lost 30 pounds of weight needed which she credits 90 per cent to her diet. But then if she lost 70 pounds where'd the remaining 40 pounds come from? She shares that she suffered from Edema (severe water retention) as well as gestational diabetes during her pregnancy after which weight loss from the edema was quite dramatic. Now, she's back to her deliciously curvy body (drools!) thanks to dieting and Jenny Craig (of course being the official sponsor). Well it does seem all so good to be true but who cannot afford to stay in shape when you've got millions to spend on the best right? This may serve as an inspiration (same as the other hundred inspirations we have) to us who aspire to be fit and in shape, though we don't really have a Jenny Craig here to walk us through, we have the will power and the guts (most of the times) to have our own way of getting in shape. It's probably best to start getting in shape after the holidays since we'd have to go back to square one every few days with all the parties coming up in the next few weeks. But to Mariah Carey, she gets three thumbs up from me for getting back in shape after she bloated up like a walrus during her pregnancy which may give Nick Cannon the desire to knock her up again.
