Most Filipino families spend time together only on holidays or weekends. And most Filipino families spend their family time either on the beach, the park or the mall. What a way to enjoy real family time than by fishing!

Well, fishing is not a real popular habit or tradition of Filipinos as it is in the U.S., but this is one enjoyable pastime we can all have especially at the right place and at the right time.

Perhaps, here in Cebu, the right place has come. dPond at Yati, Liloan, Cebu is open on weekends and holidays for the entire family’s luxurious enjoyment. It does not only allow us to fish in their big pond, but also to bond as one family.

Their free entrance and parking is a start-off one cannot resist. If you want to go ahead and drive that little boat in the middle of the pond, it’s only worth 40pesos for rent. And the bait is just a peso plus the fishing rods are for 20pesos an hour for rent. This time, you don’t need to bring anything but your big ready self ready to catch some big fish. Everything you need for fishing is there in dPond. However, if you have your own beloved fishing rods and baits, that’s not a problem. No corkage fee has been posted.

Lovely summer cottages are also in this venue. Ranges from 200-600 depending on the size and location, but this will surely complete a fishing experience. Most especially, the fish that you catch can be the fish that you will eat. They cook the fish you catch the way you want it to be. Fresh and yummy indeed! For also at a very low price, you can enjoy lunch after fishing in dPond with your complete family. This is really a worthwhile family experience!

dPond is really the perfect place to hang out with your family, and family time is the perfect time to do fishing! Actually, what makes it enjoyable is not the fishing, but a new experience for new memories with the faces that we will be together with, at least for this lifetime.
