Jennifer Lopez reportedly has 20 million reasons to return for another season of American Idol.
TheWrap.com reports J-Lo is returning with a contract from Fox that will pay her, according to one individual, “a smidge over” million. The report says Lopez earned million in her first year as an Idol judge. While another insider close to the show denies that a deal is in place, the report quotes two individuals as saying the million deal is done, but the contract has not yet been signed.
According to one of the individuals, the only item left to be resolved is scheduling. TheWrap.com says Lopez will be working on two movies which will require adjusting American Idol audition dates for the upcoming season. Lopez will be starring in the romantic comedy What to Expect When You’re Expecting, which is filming now, and the thriller Parker, which is currently in pre-production. TheWrap.com further declared it has also confirmed that Lopez will be continuing her talent search show, Q’Viva!. The series features J-Lo and her now-estranged husband Marc Anthony traveling through Latin America in search of hot vocal talent.
