A video has surfaced of Zac Efron on the red carpet for the family-friendly movie Dr. Seuss' The Lorax, in which the young actor appears to drop a condom on the floor, reports Zap2it.com

The footage shows Zac handing a gold-foiled wrapped something to an assistant but the item misses its mark and falls to the carpet at the L.A. premiere of the film.

There has been no confirmation if the object in question was something with which to practice safe sex or simply a snack to munch on during the movie.

Zac provides the voice of "Ted" in the animated film, which opens nationwide March 2.
