Have you been naughty or nice? Veronica has been evil this year.

Well, not really she is just in the dark and in the dark she will be in the sexiest way possible.  So don’t try to brighten her up. You will just end up frustrated in a losing battle.

Veronica wants to be a coal this Christmas. “A piece of black, dusty coal, that’s what I am”, she states. Marilyn Manson once put it: “Society has traditionally always tried to find scapegoats for its problems. Well, here I am.” She’s not everyone’s shot of whisky and she understand that perfectly. She does have something to say to those who have ill thoughts about her.

“Eh.”

But coals are not as bad and as dark as they look like; the coals are here for a purpose. Here is what Veronica has to say about the cause she believes in:

“I’m not sure if this is really considered a cause. It’s very cliché but at the same time, it’s ridiculously ignored. It would be great if everybody started understanding and respecting each other – may it be in regards to gender, religion, or lifestyle. People always need to have standards and they always want to implement their own personal standards to someone else. Leave other people alone, you know? It’s not like you won’t be able to sleep at night due to excruciating pain if transgendered individuals started getting married, or if your son decided to be an atheist.  You don’t have to accept everybody’s life choices because I can assure you, it will differ. But at least respect what they’ve chosen. If they’re not hurting you, anyone you love or acting like bigots, then let them be. I’m an atheist and Christmas isn’t really my thing but I don’t go around tearing up every Christmas décor I see, or argue with Christians who celebrate this holiday. I accept it as it is. It doesn’t really bother me. I enjoy it even, to top it off.

Enjoy your own faults. That’s what separates you from the rest. And if you end up being on the receiving end of pride and prejudice, get up. This society is becoming too comfortable with being victimized than actually doing something about it – like for example, standing up for yourself.

This also includes the respect we need to express to different forms of life that surround us, from animals, plants to natural resources. That may sound hippie-like but it goes beyond our existence as humans. The sad truth that people fail to realize is we can’t exist without them, but they can strive and go forth without us.

If we can just do all this, everything else – every other cause you can think of – will fall into place once the respect is there. Peace and order would come naturally, and cooperation will follow instinctively. All of this is supposed to be common sense but unfortunately, it’s not as common as we think.”

Nightmarish as she may be, Veronica certainly thinks deep.  Need I say more? Oh yeah if you are curious, her favourite Christmas food is ham and a double-shot of Johnnie on the rocks, and she is ready for hallow…er…Christmas!
