What is Hunat Sugbu?

Hunat Sugbu is the first ever "Fun Run" orgaized by a hotel ( Parklane Hotel)  which came to existance because they want to help the community. Every thing earned by Hunat Sugbu goes to a foundation whose goal is to help the less privileged people. As what their site says, they take pride to uphold the vision once shared by Manuel "Maning" Ting.

Now, Hunat Sugbu is at it again on their 5th year. Happening this June 21, 2015, they are encouraging more people to come. If last year's run was for fitness, this year is a lot more different... they want people to run because they can. If they can, you can. People may have different reasons why they run but what is important here is that they CAN run.

The registered runners will enjoy since Hunat Sugbu has prepared a lot for them and let me mention a few: 10 cold water stations, fruits, chocolates and energy drinks! Not only that, a buffet is waiting at the finish line so runners will indeed get more than they register.

Winners will receive cash, medals and plaques depending on the category. Here's what the runners may win:

3k Category ( Male and Female)

1st Place- P2,000
2nd Place- P1,000
3rd Place- P500

6k Category ( Male and Female)

1st Place- P3,000
2nd Place- P 2,000
3rd Place- P1,000

12k Category (Male and Female)

1st Place- P4,000 and silver medal
2nd Place- P3,000
3rd Place- P2,000
4th Place- P1,000
5th Place- P500

21k Category (Male and Female)

1st Place- P6,000 with medal and plaque
2nd Place- P 4,000
3rd Place- P3,000
4th Place - P2,000
5th Place- P1,000
