They happen. Accidents happen but the thing is they can be avoided by just being careful.

It’s very easy to follow right? It bugs me why a lot of people still take things for granted and end up in the hospital or worse- harming another person because of his carelessness.

On the dawn of March 9,2015, a motorist was sent to the hospital due to an accident. The scene wasn’t pretty- a motorist was under a parked taxi, his head was heavily bleeding and his motorcycle was about 10 meters away from him. He seemed unconscious and I thought he was dead. I asked the on-lookers what happened and what they told me was definitely mouth-opening.

The guy was speeding and hit a random person so he crashed into the parked taxi. The random person he hit lost consciousness for a long time but woke up and continued walking. The onlookers didn’t do anything since they thought he was okay because he managed to stand- this made me want to scream at them but I guess it’s not their fault for being ignorant.

ERUF came after a long time and it was then revealed that the motorist was drunk and was speeding. There’s no one to blame but him. Good luck to him and he is so lucky he is still alive! ERUF also received an emergency call somewhere nearby the scene and I bet that was the random person hit by the motorist.

What’s worst? A motorist passed by the scene, paused to look at what happened only to leave the scene with a big “broom” and then speeding away. It was very disrespectful and disgusting.

If that motorist was just careful, he would have not hurt himself and the random stranger. “Don’t Drink and Drive” is a very prevalent reminder- we see that on TV… we literally see that everywhere! I do not understand why a lot of people do not follow it and the number of irresponsible drivers is increasing- you often hear a lot of motorists speeding up in the streets while making their engines roar.

We hope that everyone would drive safely, not just motorists. Sure, intimidating others and boasting your ride is fun, especially when you speed up and get the attention of people but remember… it might cost you your life.

Drive safely! Don’t drink and drive.
