Introvert - Many people these days are starting to throw around this word, but what does this mean and how does it relate to people in an everyday situation. The simple definition of introvert generally means: a shy person; or a quiet person who does not find it easy to talk to other people. We seem to think differently. Jiggy explains in this song analysis what he thinks is a perfect song for introverts.

Most people are not comfortable with their own thoughts, which is why they try to escape them by going out and having a good time partying. Society expects us to have relationships with other people and when we find our selves alone, society automatically considers it abnormal. They don’t understand that some of the best thinking is done when a person is alone with him or herself. In a world that can’t stop talking, it will be great for our tortured mind to be alone with itself more often.

The public generally links being an introvert with being anti-social, or being aloof or even indifferent to society. But, just take a page out of your history book and you will find some of the biggest contributors to society’s improvement are introverts. People like Albert Einstein, Bill Gates, Mahatma Gandhi are just a few of the introverts that have changed the world. Imagine if we did not give these people time alone, things would have been so much different.

I love this line “ Oh God why am I Here?” Existential questions only come when you are alone with your thoughts. I think everyone should ask this question or if they already have answer to revisit it every once in a while.
