256 teams from all over the Philippines will battle it out at the 14th annual Thirsty Football Cup!
This year, the Thirsty Football Cup is uniting football lovers once again in the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie. This time around for the 14th year, the Thirsty Cup is not just awarding the champions, but also giving them a total of P35,000 to any charity of the champion’s choice.
Starting 4pm today to February 26 at the Cebu City Sports Complex, 256 teams from all over the Philippines will battle it out to win the most coveted title as champion in each of the 14 divisions presented.
The divisions are:
1.mix under 7
2.mix under 9
3.mix under 11
4.boys under 13
5.girls under 15
6.boys under 15
7.boys under 17
8.girls under 17
9.boys under 19
10.girls under 19
11.mens open
12.ladies open
13.Open mix
14.38 above.
Thirsty Football Festival Photo Contest
In line with the festivities that the football cup is bringing, there will also be a photo contest open to the public. Amateur and professional photographers have to snap memories of the event. With the theme: Win for a Cause, photos from the participants should depict moments with emotions, celebrations, or action shots during play. Registration will be on site.
Winners of the 14th Thirsty Football Cup Photo Contest will bag cash prizes and gift certificates from Thirsty Fresh Fruit Juices and Shakes!
There will also be a Thirsty Run in a couple of months. Watch out for that!
