Head out to Fooda Mango for the Philippine’s biggest outdoor party! The mother of all festivals, the Sinulog Festival is held on the third weekend of January. Saturday begins with a beautiful fluvial procession of colorful bancas (outrigger boats) in the Mactan Strait, one of which carries an image of the Sto. Niño. Highlights of the Sunday festival include a whole day’s worth of street celebrations. The parade is central to this, showcasing street dancing choreographies from participants from all over the country. The higantes, or giant puppets, are also a sight to watch along the beautifully decorated floats from contingents.

When the parade starts to fade from the streets, the Invasion Tour returns to homebase and takes over throughout the rest of the night with live music, more face paint, more friends, and even more fun. Pit Senyor!
