It’s the most wonderful time of the year! No, not that holiday.
I’m talking about this event: UNIVERCITY 2014.
Step away from your desks, drop the books, that pen your holding and that little snack you sneaked in into the classroom. And just for one night, let loose and bring in the good vibes. Let Spectrum take you into a journey of music, entertainment and pure amusement.
This year, Spectrum Experience will be bringing in a new magnitude of fun and excitement with Kasadya sa Sugbo + Islands Carnival, Fair Park Night Market, Camp Havaianas, FB Photo Booth, performers, cheerleaders and your favorite local bands and DJs who will perform live to give your ears a little treat; or a break – if you’ve been listening to the same list of songs on your mp3 player for the past seven years.
Rock out to the performances of some of Cebu’s best acts: Adrienne, Bethany, One Man Down, Shuffled, Drop Decay, Powerspoonz, and the human beat box GMTFX. Party the night away with the beats of DJ Gio and your favourite Spectrum DJs: Gino V, Mozo, Inno Naguit, DJ Ace Ramos, and MC Pao.
Proceeds from the festival will be given to the Cebu City Task Force on Street Children – a non-profit organization that provides educational assistance, residential care, other psychosocial intervention for the children’s growth and development. How cool is that? The result of you having fun is giving someone else a better chance to live the life you’re living in. Partying has never been this rewarding.
Wear your school colors, bring out the best and most comfortable outfit and gather in all your friends from different universities, because just for this one night, all of you are going to party as one family. So, do not let a single dose of negativity ride along with you. Leave that locked up outside. Because like I said last time, Spectrum is your bliss factory. All you have to do is keep your mind open and take in the experience. College will never be the same.
