Summer is the season we all look forward to throughout the year.

Everyone will be getting ready with their body to show it off to everyone. Towards the end of the school year, people will start to plan on where to go and what to do for the summer. Lucky for those who are booked to travel to a colder place, but for those who are just planning to stay home or in the city, good luck being covered with sweat.

Yes, it is very exciting when summer is just around the corner because that means no more school and you get a lot of free time to do anything, but there are downsides to everything everything – including summer.

First of all, summer means no more allowance. During school days, our parents give us allowance to get through the day. It is great because you get to control your spending, so if you plan to buy something or if you have plans for the weekend, you can choose not to use up all of your allowance and keep some of it for later. Second, you gain weight because there’s nothing left to do at home but to finish everything inside your refrigerator. Third, summer heat creeps up on our skin. It is definitely not advisable to walk outside when the sun is out. Heat stroke and dehydration is very possible. Sweat can be very annoying, but you can’t stop it because the heat is unbeatable.

Don’t get me wrong though; summer is the time where you can get to spend a lot of quality time with your family. Vacations are definitely a relaxing getaway with your loved ones. Just learn on how to spend your time wisely, and you will have the greatest summer of your life.
